1. Burn candle to outside edges on each burn to establish a full burn pool. Pro tip: first time you light your candle, trim your wick and light for 2 hours to soften the set wax.

2. Trim wick to approximately 1/4 inch or a little shorter after each burn to create slow burn, prevent to high of a flame (which overheats the wax) and could create black soot and/or blackening of candle jar.

3. Stop use when only 1/4 wax remains. You can scoop out remaining wax and then recycle the glass/terracotta or ceramic or you can repurpose and use as a planter, something to store jewelry in, depends. Terracotta vessels are good to use as plant starters.
